Summary
This study is testing whether placing a collagen matrix (a graft made from animal tissue) into the empty socket after a tooth is pulled helps preserve the jawbone better than letting it heal on its own. Researchers are comparing these two approaches in 24 adults who need a single-rooted tooth extracted. They will use 3D scans to measure bone changes over three months to see if the graft makes a difference.
