New collagen patch tested to fix torn knee cartilage
NCT ID NCT07352410
Summary
This study is testing if adding a purified collagen material during knee cartilage (meniscus) repair surgery is safe and might help the tissue heal better. It involves 15 adults with a specific type of repairable meniscus tear. Researchers will monitor patients for safety, pain levels, knee function, and check healing on MRI scans over time to see if this approach is worth testing in a larger future trial.
