First seen Jan 25, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding a high-purity collagen patch during arthroscopic knee surgery helps repair torn meniscus tissue. 18 adults with symptomatic meniscal tears received the collagen-augmented repair. The main goal was to check safety and gather early data on pain and knee function to plan a larger future trial.
