First seen Dec 12, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looks at whether rinsing with cold water (15-20°C) can reduce mouth sore pain and improve comfort compared to room-temperature water in people getting radiation for head and neck cancer. Two hundred participants will gargle four times daily during their 6-week radiation course. The goal is to find a simple, low-cost way to ease a common side effect.
