A simple breath of cold air to soothe surgery side effects?
NCT ID NCT07273162
Summary
This study is testing whether inhaling cold vapor can help reduce common discomforts after hernia surgery, such as shortness of breath, thirst, and nausea. It will involve 66 adults recovering from laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair. One group will receive the cold vapor treatment in addition to standard care, while another group receives only standard care, to see if there's a difference in symptom relief.
