Summary
This study tested whether applying a cold plasma treatment to surgical stitches could help people recover faster after wisdom tooth removal. Researchers compared two types of stitches, silk and PTFE, with and without the plasma treatment, in 60 patients. They measured pain, facial swelling, mouth opening, and quality of life for a week after surgery to see if the treatment made a difference.
