Zap your gum pain away? cold plasma tested for numbing needle pricks
NCT ID NCT07288125
Summary
This study tested if a cold plasma device could make dental injections less painful. In 30 healthy adults, researchers applied the device to one side of the mouth before an injection and compared the pain to the other side, which got the standard injection. The goal was to see if this quick, touch-free treatment could improve patient comfort during common dental procedures.
