First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests whether cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) can safely and effectively treat moderate-to-severe acne. About 220 adults aged 18-40 will receive either CAP or a placebo treatment. The goal is to see if CAP reduces acne lesions better than placebo, offering a potential new option without the side effects of standard treatments.
