NCT ID NCT07548931
First seen Apr 27, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looked at whether treating the healing caps placed on dental implants with cold plasma can lower the number of bacteria that stick to them early on. Twelve people who needed at least four implants took part. Each person got four caps, one untreated and three treated with different plasma methods. After a week, the caps were removed and tested for germs. The goal was to see if plasma could help keep the implant area cleaner during healing.
