Chill out after surgery: could a simple spray soothe thirst and nausea?
NCT ID NCT07233057
Summary
This study tested whether spraying a refreshing, ice-cold menthol water into the mouth could help patients feel better after nose surgery. It looked at whether the spray reduced feelings of thirst, dry mouth, and nausea in 90 adults recovering from rhinoplasty. Researchers also checked if it had any effect on basic body measurements like heart rate and blood pressure.
