First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tests whether soaking feet in cold salt water before chemotherapy can prevent nerve damage (peripheral neuropathy) caused by paclitaxel. Thirty breast cancer patients will be split into three groups: cold salt water, cold fresh water, or standard care. The goal is to see if the foot baths reduce numbness, tingling, and pain, and help patients maintain daily activities.
