Summary

This study is testing a new cold compression device to see if it works better than standard ice packs for managing pain and swelling after rotator cuff surgery. It involves 100 adults having this specific shoulder repair. The main goal is to see if this approach improves pain control and quality of life while reducing the need for opioid pain medication.
