Summary
This study tests whether the drug colchicine can slow the buildup of plaque in heart arteries for people who have a specific genetic change called TET2-CHIP. About 120 adults who recently had a heart attack will receive colchicine or a placebo alongside their usual care. The goal is to see if the drug works better in those with this gene variant.
