New collagen treatment aims to speed recovery for burn and trauma patients

Summary

This study is testing whether a collagen matrix called Cohealyx can help prepare serious wounds for skin grafting more quickly. Researchers are measuring how long it takes for the wound bed to become ready for grafting after applying Cohealyx. The study includes 41 patients with severe wounds from burns, trauma, or surgery who need skin grafts to heal.
