Mind over foot pain: new study tests brain training for plantar fasciitis

Summary
This study looks at whether adding cognitive (brain) training to standard stretching and strengthening exercises can better reduce pain, improve foot function, and enhance balance in people with plantar fasciitis. About 80 adults with heel pain will be split into two groups: one doing cognitive exercises plus stretching, the other doing stretching alone. The goal is to see if training the mind and muscles together works better than just stretching.
