First seen May 08, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests a new computer program designed to help autistic children ages 8-11 improve their ability to control thoughts and actions, which may reduce repetitive behaviors. About 95 children will be randomly assigned to receive the training right away or after a delay. Researchers will use brain activity recordings (EEG) to see if the training changes how the brain works.
