Heart surgery without the machine: does it still affect your brain?

Summary

This study will follow 600 adults having off-pump coronary artery bypass surgery to see how often memory and thinking problems occur after the operation. Participants will take a simple thinking test before surgery and again about a week later. The goal is to understand which factors during surgery might raise the risk of cognitive decline.
