New hope for 'Chemo Brain': study tests two therapies to sharpen Survivors' minds

Summary

This study tests two different therapies—cognitive rehabilitation and the Unified Barlow Protocol—to see if they can improve memory, thinking, and emotional well-being in breast cancer survivors. About 123 survivors with mild to moderate cognitive issues will be randomly assigned to one of the therapies or a waitlist. The goal is to find better ways to ease 'chemo brain' and boost quality of life.
