Summary

This study aims to understand why people with cochlear implants often have difficulty hearing and expressing emotions in spoken language. Researchers will test children and adults with implants, as well as people with normal hearing, by having them listen to and record emotional speech. The goal is to gather knowledge that could lead to better technology and therapy to improve social communication for implant users.
