First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests a new algorithm designed to improve speech understanding in noisy environments for people with cochlear implants. About 25 adults with bilateral implants will listen to sentences in background noise and try to repeat them, as well as point out where sounds come from. The goal is to see if the algorithm makes hearing and locating sounds easier.
