New tech aims to help implant users hear in crowds

NCT ID NCT07323862

Summary

This study is testing a new computer algorithm designed to help people with cochlear implants. The goal is to see if it improves their ability to understand speech in noisy environments, like restaurants, and to tell where sounds are coming from. Participants will listen to sentences with background noise and try to identify the location of sounds.
