Can a new implant setting make music sound better?
NCT ID NCT04591093
Summary
This study is testing whether a specific setting on a MED-EL cochlear implant can improve how music sounds to the user. Researchers will compare two versions of a sound-processing strategy in 32 adults with hearing loss to see if stimulating deeper parts of the inner ear leads to better music perception. The main goal is to see if this change makes music sound clearer, fuller, and more pleasant.
