New study tracks how cochlear implants change lives across all ages

Summary
This study follows 300 deaf patients of all ages who are getting a cochlear implant. Researchers will test hearing, speech, and quality of life before and after the implant to see how well it works for different age groups. The goal is to create better, personalized rehabilitation plans for each patient.
