First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tests a new Bluetooth feature in Nucleus 8 and Kanso 3 sound processors that lets cochlear implant users stream audio wirelessly from accessories like the Multi-Mic+. Twenty experienced adult users will try the technology at home and in the lab to see if it helps them understand speech better in noisy places. The goal is to improve everyday listening without needing new hardware.
