App aims to simplify hearing device tuning from home
NCT ID NCT07077070
Summary
This study tested a new mobile app feature designed to help people with cochlear implants adjust their hearing devices more easily. Twenty experienced cochlear implant users tried the app both at home and in the clinic to see if it could accurately measure how loud different sounds seem. The goal was to see if this tool could eventually reduce the number of clinic visits needed for device programming.
