New Low-Heat tonsil surgery aims to cut pain and bleeding
NCT ID NCT07457619
Summary
This study compared two surgical techniques for removing tonsils in patients with chronic tonsillitis. It aimed to see if a newer, low-heat method called 'coblation' causes less pain and bleeding after surgery than the traditional 'cold dissection' method. The trial involved 60 patients who were randomly assigned to receive one of the two procedures.
