First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looks at whether spending time at the Belgian coast can improve physical and mental health in people over 60. Sixty retired adults will take walks on the coast and in the city, wearing sensors to track heart rate and stress. They will also do attention tests and give saliva samples to measure stress hormones. The goal is to see if coastal environments help older adults feel better and think more clearly.
