New treatment tested for dangerous bleeding in rare disease
NCT ID NCT06963216
Summary
This study is testing whether a medication called Coagadex can safely and effectively stop or prevent bleeding in adults with a rare clotting problem caused by light chain amyloidosis. The medication provides concentrated clotting factor to help blood clot properly. Researchers will enroll about 15 participants to see how well it works for sudden bleeds and for bleeding around surgery.
