Summary

This study examines whether adjusting carbon dioxide levels in the blood during prostate surgery affects brain blood flow and thinking skills after the operation. Researchers will compare two different breathing patterns during anesthesia in 46 men aged 55-80. The goal is to understand how surgical positioning and breathing management might influence brain function to improve care for vulnerable patients.
