First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study will check if measuring CO2 gap, lactate, and oxygen in the blood can help predict serious problems after heart bypass surgery. About 130 adults having planned bypass surgery will be followed for 7 days after their operation. The goal is to see if these simple tests can warn doctors early about complications like kidney injury, heart attack, or shock.
