First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looks at 290 adults who have had a stem cell transplant and are taking letermovir to prevent CMV infection. Researchers want to see if measuring two new viral markers (CMV-RNA and TTV-DNA) in the blood can better predict when CMV becomes active compared to the standard test. The goal is to improve monitoring and guide treatment decisions.
