First test of virus shield for tiny transplant patients

Summary
This study is testing a drug called letermovir to prevent cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection in children and teens who have received a kidney transplant and weigh less than 88 pounds. Researchers want to understand how the child's body processes the drug and check if it is safe and well-tolerated. The study will include about 40 participants who are between 4 weeks and 1 year post-transplant.
