New software aims to speed up diagnosis of dangerous pregnancy virus
NCT ID NCT06694428
Summary
This study is testing a new computer software tool called MyCMV, designed to help doctors and midwives interpret blood test results for a common virus called cytomegalovirus (CMV) during pregnancy. The goal is to see if the software can identify CMV infections in the first trimester as accurately as a human expert, but faster. A quicker diagnosis could allow for earlier treatment to help protect the developing baby.
