Summary
This study looked at 161 children who had heart, kidney, or liver transplants. Researchers used a special blood test to measure their immune system's ability to fight CMV, a common virus that can cause serious problems after transplant. The goal was to find out if this test could predict which children are at higher risk for CMV infection, so doctors can better tailor antiviral treatments.
