First seen Mar 22, 2026 · Last updated May 04, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study aims to find early biological markers (biomarkers) for Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease type 1A (CMT1A) in people aged 10 to 30. Researchers will analyze blood, skin, and nerve signals from both rats and humans to predict how the disease will progress. No treatment is tested; the goal is to make future clinical trials in children possible by providing reliable ways to measure disease severity.
