Researchers examine Real-World leukemia treatment costs and patterns

NCT ID NCT07150793

Summary

This study analyzed existing medical records to understand how chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) patients in Japan were treated with targeted medications called TKIs. Researchers examined treatment patterns, medication switches, healthcare visits, and costs for 754 patients between 2011 and 2019. The goal was to gather real-world information about how these treatments are used in everyday medical practice, not to test new treatments.
