First seen Jan 29, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study looks at two different ways to give a nerve block injection for a condition called superior cluneal nerve entrapment, which can cause long-term low back and buttock pain. Researchers will compare a proximal (closer to the spine) and a distal (farther from the spine) injection approach in 54 adults aged 18 to 75. The goal is to see which method better reduces pain and improves daily function.
