Pocket-Sized clot checker could change blood thinner monitoring

Summary
This study tests a small, handheld device called ClotChek™ that measures how long it takes for blood to clot. Researchers want to see if it can accurately tell the difference between people taking blood thinners (rivaroxaban or apixaban) and those not on these medications. About 150 adults aged 18-80 will participate, and the goal is to improve how doctors monitor blood thinner effects at the point of care.
