Summary

This study tested a closed-loop ventilation mode (INTELLiVENT-ASV) in 20 adults with acute brain injury who needed a breathing machine. The goal was to see if the smart ventilator could safely protect both the brain and lungs. Researchers measured how often the ventilator stayed in safe zones and checked for any changes in brain pressure or lung function.
