Researchers map the uncertain path after leukemia drugs fail

NCT ID NCT05621148

Summary

This study looked back at the medical records of 152 adults with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) to understand what happens after two common types of oral medications stop working. The goal was to see what treatments doctors tried next and how patients responded, because there is no established standard of care for this situation. The research aims to fill a knowledge gap to help guide future treatment decisions for patients who have run out of effective oral drug options.
