New cancer drug enters human testing for Tough-to-Treat tumors

Summary
This early-stage clinical trial is testing a new drug called CLIO-8221 in people with advanced solid tumors that have spread or cannot be removed by surgery. The study aims to find the safest and most effective dose and get early signs of whether the drug helps control the cancer. It will enroll 306 participants who have typically tried other available treatments first.
