This study tested whether adding climate-impact labels to fast-food menus influences how healthy the meals people choose are. Over 6,600 adults in the U.S. completed a mock online burger order, seeing menus with different label designs. Researchers measured the nutritional quality of the meals and the greenhouse gas emissions of the orders. The goal was to see if simple labels can guide people toward better food choices for both health and the planet.
