Can a carbon footprint label make your burger order healthier?
NCT ID NCT06678178
Summary
This study tested whether adding climate-impact labels to fast-food menus influences how healthy people's meal choices are. Over 6,600 US adults participated in an online experiment where they selected items from a simulated burger restaurant menu with different types of labels. Researchers measured the healthfulness of the meals chosen and asked participants about their perceptions of the labels.
