First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary

The workshops use interactive activities based on protection motivation theory. Researchers will measure changes using surveys before and after the program.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Climate change workshops based on protection motivation theory
What this could lead to
If successful, this could show that short, interactive workshops can increase climate awareness and encourage eco-friendly habits in young teens.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage study with only 66 students from one school, so results may not apply broadly. It measures attitudes and behaviors, not actual health outcomes.
