Asthma drug tested in hunt for first FSHD treatment

Summary
This early-stage study is testing whether a drug called clenbuterol, currently used for asthma, is safe and tolerable for people with FSHD, a type of muscular dystrophy. Researchers will give 30 adults one of three different doses for six months to find the best dose for a future, larger trial. The main goal is to check for side effects, but they will also measure changes in muscle strength, size, and activity to see if the drug shows any promise.
