New hope for controlling severe seizures in kids and adults

NCT ID NCT05066217

Summary

This study is testing whether a drug called clemizole, when added to a patient's current medications, can help reduce seizures in people with a severe form of epilepsy called Lennox-Gastaut syndrome. It will involve about 260 children and adults, comparing the drug to a placebo to see if it is safe and effective. The main goal is to see if it lowers the number of major seizures people experience.
