Heart failure drug mystery: can ultrasound predict who benefits?
NCT ID NCT07088471
First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looked at 334 adults with heart failure to see if a heart ultrasound measurement (left atrial strain) can help predict who will respond best to the drug sacubitril/valsartan. The goal was to understand why some patients improve more than others. The study did not test a new treatment but aimed to gather knowledge to personalize care.
