Braces vs. invisalign: the spit test

NCT ID NCT07397871

Summary

This study aims to understand how two common orthodontic treatments—clear aligners (like Invisalign) and traditional metal braces—affect a person's saliva. Researchers will measure saliva flow, acidity (pH), and buffering capacity in 40 adult patients before and during their treatment. The goal is to gather knowledge about potential differences between the two methods, not to test a new treatment.
