Can flipping invisible braces attachments stop ugly white spots?
NCT ID NCT07368296
Summary
This study tested whether moving the small tooth-colored bumps (attachments) used with clear aligners from the cheek-side to the tongue-side of teeth helps prevent white spot lesions. White spots are common, chalky-looking stains that can appear during orthodontic treatment. Researchers compared the two attachment placements in 52 young adults over six months to see which method better protected tooth enamel.
