Summary
This study aims to find out which of two common surgical skin cleaning solutions works better to prevent infections after hip or knee revision surgery. It will compare chlorhexidine-alcohol solution to povidone-iodine solution in 400 patients. The main goal is to see which solution leads to fewer repeat operations for wound problems or infections within a year after surgery.
